Decorative Concrete Features in Vaughan — what to know
The Decor Coatings crew installs decorative concrete features for homeowners and businesses in Vaughan. Custom countertops, feature walls, hearths, and architectural concrete elements. Vaughan is one of our busiest service areas, with a mix of high-end custom homes in Kleinburg, established neighbourhoods in Woodbridge and Thornhill, and newer builds across Maple. Polished concrete and decorative overlays are especially popular in Vaughan custom builds.
Vaughan sits in the York region, and our scheduling runs same-day for consults. Project types in this area span renovations, new-build finishing, and commercial fit-outs — our scheduling flexes to whichever applies. For concrete features specifically, that means custom-designed per project, cast-in-place or prefabricated panel installation, matched to the actual condition of your slab or wall.
The crew that quotes is the crew that installs — no bait-and-switch, no sub-contracted finish. Most residential jobs are booked within two weeks of quote acceptance.

Common questions
How much do custom concrete countertops cost?+
Price varies with size, edge detail, inlays, and whether we cast on-site or in the shop. We quote per piece after a site measure — reach out for a specific estimate.
Will it stain from wine or oil?+
Properly sealed concrete countertops are stain-resistant but not stain-proof. We use food-safe sealers that handle normal kitchen use well, and we re-seal annually if desired.
Do you serve all of Vaughan?+
Yes — we work across every neighbourhood in Vaughan, including Thornhill, Woodbridge, Maple, and surrounding areas. Scheduling is same-day for consults.
How does Vaughan's climate affect concrete features?+
The GTA's humidity swings and winter heating cycle affect substrate moisture, which is why we moisture-test every slab before scheduling. Concrete Features systems are selected to handle the conditions we find — including the salt and freeze-thaw stress that garage floors see from November through April.
